Job Title : Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer at SOTI, your primary responsibility is to meet the needs of new and existing customers, ensuring their optimal experience with our products. This involves providing technical support, generating revenue through add-on sales and professional service training, and following up on support cases as necessary. Your role as a representative of SOTI requires maintaining a high level of customer service in all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand revenue by engaging in consultative selling with clients and prospects, representing SOTI with warmth, professionalism, and care
- Conduct onsite and remote demonstrations of SOTI products
- Provide pre-sales technical support to potential customers
- Analyze SOTI's market segment and provide recommendations for product roadmaps
- Investigate and address issues reported by customers, collaborating with internal product development teams to resolve product-related problems
- Deliver email and telephone-based pre and post-sales technical support for our software products
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of computer networking principles (e.g., Firewalls, Network Protocols, Subnetting)
- Knowledge of mobile computing platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile)
- Vertical market expertise within the carrier market
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload, consistently meeting service standards and objectives
- Previous experience working with mobile device management solutions and enterprise mobility, BYOD, SaaS is advantageous
- Familiarity with Active Directory, certificates, and CRM solutions is a plus
- Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle is an asset
- Understanding of containerization and virtualization is beneficial
