Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Type: Full Time (One-year contract initially, subject to reviews)

Salary: £21,575 p.a. (£18,536.75 p.a. pro rata) - Scale 3 Point 5

Hours: 35 hrs per week, Term Time only

Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, encouraging their learning and skill acquisition. You will also assist teaching staff in managing the classroom environment effectively.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals at all levels.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Possess 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) with grades A* to C, including English, Maths, and Science.
• Previous experience working with children between the ages of 11-16 is preferred.
