Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls, identify the purpose of each call, and transfer calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Prepare board rooms for meetings.
- Greet visitors/clients, identify the purpose of their visit, and notify the appropriate staff member of their arrival.
- Address inquiries and provide information of a general nature.
- Perform clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, signing for courier packages, and distributing mail.
- Support Health & Safety and People and Culture Initiatives.
- Manage calendars, process expense reports, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Support the accounting department with data entry, coding, and reconciling credit card statements.
- Plan, prioritize, and organize workload within service standards and agreed objectives.
- Proactively stock office supplies, re-ordering when needed, and maintaining sufficient inventory.
- Perform other general office & housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A self-starter with a high degree of initiative and a can-do attitude.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar office administration position.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Good telephone manners.
- Ability to handle people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work with strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
