 Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Engineer at SOTI, you will have the opportunity to utilize your passion for modern technology to identify and resolve complex problems while delivering excellent customer service. By demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities, you will provide technical support, drive revenue through consultative selling, and ensure customer satisfaction with SOTI products. Your interactions as a SOTI representative must consistently maintain a high level of customer service.

• Develop and expand revenue through consultative selling with clients and prospects, presenting yourself as a warm, professional, well-spoken, and caring representative of SOTI
• Conduct on-site and remote demonstrations of SOTI products
• Provide pre-sales technical support to potential customers
• Analyze SOTI's market segment and generate recommendations for product roadmaps
• Investigate and address issues reported by customers, collaborating with internal product development teams to resolve product-related problems
• Deliver email and telephone-based pre and post-sales technical support for our software products

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of computer networking principles, including firewalls, network protocols, subnetting, and more
• Knowledge of mobile computing platforms such as Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile
• Vertical market expertise within the carrier market
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, consistently meeting service standards and objectives
• Previous experience with mobile device management solutions, enterprise mobility, BYOD, SaaS is an asset
• Familiarity with Active Directory, certificates, and CRM solutions is advantageous
• Experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies is beneficial
