Responsibilities

As a Pre-Sales Engineer at SOTI, you will have the opportunity to satisfy the needs of both new and existing customers, ensuring an exceptional experience with our products. Your role encompasses providing technical support, driving revenue through add-on sales and professional service training, and addressing support cases as necessary. Upholding a high level of customer service as a representative of SOTI is paramount.

  • Engage in consultative selling with clients and prospects, presenting yourself as a warm, professional, well-spoken, and caring representative of SOTI
  • Conduct on-site and remote demonstrations of SOTI products
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to potential customers
  • Analyze SOTI's market segment and contribute recommendations for product roadmaps
  • Investigate customer-reported issues and collaborate with internal product development teams to resolve them
  • Deliver email and telephone-based pre and post-sales technical support for our software products

Qualifications

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of computer networking principles, including Firewalls, Network Protocols, Subnetting, and more
  • Proficiency in mobile computing platforms, such as Android, iOS, and Windows Mobile
  • Vertical market expertise within the carrier market
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and organization skills, consistently meeting service standards and agreed objectives
  • Previous experience with mobile device management solutions, enterprise mobility, BYOD, SaaS is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, certificates, and CRM solutions is a plus
  • Experience with databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle is an asset
  • Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies is beneficial
