WHAT TO EXPECT:

As part of Global Parts Operations, you will be a key player in the logistics division of JLR Global Customer Care. You will contribute to the strategy, planning, release, pricing, revenue generation, and availability of service parts and accessories for the Global Jaguar and Land Rover network.

Working within the Global Supply Team, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the department. You will collaborate closely with the Planning Team and other internal stakeholders across the business.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role goes beyond standard administration duties and involves interacting with suppliers and stakeholders. You will assist the Material Planner in coordinating and preparing documentation for material returns to suppliers, liaising with the Supplier, JLR Customs and Operations. Additionally, you will obtain quotations from nominated priority freight providers, seek internal authorization, and ensure stillage returns to suppliers.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Processing supersession alerts through the Alert Monitor in the SNC (Supplier Network Collaboration) portal.
  • Handling supplier shut down dates through the Alert Monitor in the SNC portal.
  • Collating and publishing a weekly report on Global Top 10 backorder parts.
  • Working with the Inbound and Transport teams to report the status of aged ASN's (Advanced Shipping Notices).

This hybrid role involves 2-3 days in the office. The team collaborates closely to support Material Planners and suppliers. It serves as an excellent entry-level opportunity for those interested in a career in Planning or Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

We are seeking a personable individual who can build excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Operations, Customs, Inventory Managers, Parts Technical) and external suppliers.

  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • Time management to meet deadlines
  • Well-organized with a process-oriented mindset and strong prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
