Overview:

Join PepsiCo's Walkers site in Leicester as a General Operator! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in various areas, including Packaging, Process, Multipack, and Services. As a General Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting machinery, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting the production line.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and set machinery, ensuring health and safety compliance and high standards
• Identify and address drops in machinery standards and rectify issues
• Understand and interpret numerical data, and effectively communicate machine performance
• Provide cover for colleagues' absence as needed
• Maintain high safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards
• Escalate issues outside the General Operator remit to the wider shift team
• Support the line with raw materials, quality checks, and waste segregation

Preferred Qualifications (not essential):

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Technical understanding and familiarity with machinery
